Sharing space with others is a gift, and when Karen plans in-person experiences, she is conscious of the honor it is to share with people's time and energy. All in-person experiences at Sāra Sacred Healing are opportunities to shift from the everyday, connect with others, heal, deepen in practice and sacred study, and most of all... simply return to being.
Our international retreats and immersive travel experiences are more than vacations, they are transformative experiences for your whole being. The idea is to not only fully enjoy the experience while you are away but to also maintain the sense of discovery and calm once you return home, and to incorporate it into your daily life.
We practice sustainable health and wellness travel and, while the sacred Vedic traditions are front and centre in every experience, we are also committed to honouring local customs, cultures and communities. Whether a local event or far-away travels, we strive for a to truly immersive experience, designed to highlight the destination – it’s people and places – in order to develop a deeper appreciation and understanding of how we are all connected with each other and the natural world. And then returning home - to the Self, to fully appreciate the interconnectedness of living through introspection, excavation and ultimate healing.
